= EVсобственный вектор [матрицы]в линейной алгебре ( linear algebra), изучающей линейные преобразования с представлением матриц и операций над векторами, существуют такие взаимосвязанные понятия, как eigenvector (собственный вектор), eigenvalue( собственное значение) и eigenspace( собственное пространство). Эти понятия отражают свойства матрицы, которые могут использоваться в прикладной математике для самых разных областей, от финансов до квантовой механики. Операции матрицы над вектором - это обычно изменение его величины и направления, однако у некоторых векторов может меняться только величина, а направление остаётся неизменным (или просто меняется на противоположное). Такие векторы называются собственными векторами данной матрицы. Величина собственного вектора может умножаться на некоторый коэффициент - положительный, если направление вектора не меняется, и отрицательный, если оно меняется на противоположное. Такой коэффициент называется собственным значением, связанным с данным собственным вектором, т. е. число λ называется собственным значением квадратной матрицы А, если существует такой ненулевой вектор x, что A >= λx.
